I just noticed that I do not have a Dodge emblem on my car. The emlem on the rear bumper reads Chrysler. I was looking at a RT10 that had Dodge on it. Do all GTS's have Chrysler on them or just some years?

There are definitely Dodge dealers in Canada. All Canadian Vipers are Dodge

all euro vipers have Chrysler markings, even back to the very first RT's

Chuck Tator can suppy the rear 'DODGE' badge for around $30, i swapped mine to Dodge as no-one but the french have heard of a Chrysler Viper :)

Another likly cause is that the bumper isn't original and
someone snagged a deal on overseas parts. Of course that
means your illegal-to-operate on US soil car is actually
legal, but with hidden rear-end damage...

.... or a previous owner just enjoyed confusing the snot
out of people.

Just to be safe I would have that car throughly checked out
and researched.

Easy way to see if its a Dodge or a Chrysler is by the VIN. Dodge is 1B and Chrysler is 1C as the first part of the vin..

Bonkers, you can bring over a euro viper and sell it on legally in the US, it just takes a bit of sorting as you require a 'certificate of conformity' from Dodge which is quite difficult to obtain. This certificate is required to get the car realeased from the docks.

One of our UK guys moved to Florida and did this, selling his GTS 12 months later to a VCA member here on this forum :2tu:

I can't believe someone would change that to dodge. everyone is always hunting for rarity or something that makes their VIPER special, this would be it.

I guess I meant why would someone in the US change it to dodge if it came that way, it would be cool and confuse so many people!
