Joe,
I was "THIS CLOSE" to having it done...then wimped out. I didn't mind the $$$, but I was scared as you-know-waht that the seams would "Monk" me (you gotta watch the TV show to get that!!). I spent a good bit of $$ to do the HWSNBN front fascia...I thought I should protect it. From what Plum says, it sounds like a good deal. I gotta quit being such a dog and quit crying and just get it done.

every clear bra i have seen is very noticable. just look at the roll bar on a rt/10 or on the side sills, or underneith the front fascia.

I have also see them on the same areas on a ferrari, so I am assuming its the same product,,,, clear bra's is all in the name, it will yellow, discolour, best to leave it alone.

its gonna depend on the color. on mine it is hardly noticeable cause its silver. red is going to be a little more noticeable id think so do your homework first to see if ya like it.

Well, I'm very happy with mine. It's only been on for about 2 weeks though so I can't give any long term results. The only place you can see it is in the line going across the hood right above the headlights and then only if you're looking for it. All the other spots (mirror, wheelwells, rockers/sills, areas behind the wheels, headlights) are the very next thing to invisible.

These aren't really up close pics but here're a couple to look at. Can you see the film?

That last image shows how good the film looks even with all the curves and everything on the front of the car. The only place the film is noticable is the transition from the red to the white stripes in a couple locations. Otherwise: Clear Bra.

I've got a sapphire coupe w/ a clear bra and the same material behind each wheel,I didn't have sills done as I was worried about heat issues?I was told it was very noticeable on the darker colors, but the job this guy did is amazing if you really look you can see it but not nearly as noticeable as a chip etc!!!From here on out all my cars are going to have it,as I have deep seated issues with chips etc.

Also on the clear bra...it also depends on how it's cut.

True, and I should add that I had to have the place that did mine redo several locations before I took it home. It wasn't perfect the first time I went to pick it up but it was before I took it home. Also, for everything I did I paid about $1100. The basic hood, tips, mirrors was $500.
