coil pack location

i got a question i ordered some replacement coil packs from jon b where is it located, is it on the back side of the engine

Yes, It is located ont the back of the engine. Remove the plastic cowl which raps around the lower windshield. This is held on be four philips screws. The connectors are tricky to pull off. There is a red locking tab you must pull out before unpluging the connector. This tab does not come out completly It just come out about a 1/4 of an inch. I can get you pictures if you need them it since my car is tore appart at the moment.

i would appreciate it if i could get some pictures. i remoed the cowl cover and can kinda of see the coil pack, just waiting on the new parts to arrive.

tried to get to mine a while back . . . stumped at the first hurdle: getting the damn wiper arms off! seem like they're loctited on!...don't want to go OTT as the motors are pricey.... :confused:

On gen 1 the packs are screwed to the back of the heads... and a PIA to swap. Use care and an inspection mirror. Where are you located?
