Comments on living with a 4 Post lift?

I remember that lift failure being discussed when I was researching to buy my four post lift. The lift failure mentioned previously was a Perfect Park lift. (I believe this is a US built lift.) From what I remember, a pulley on the cable system came loose and let the car drop onto it slide. Evidently, the cable came off of the pulley system. The root cause was improper assembly by the owner. Perfect Park redesigned the lift to prevent this from happening again.

Get a 4 post...you wont be sorry. You can jack up the car on the lift with the sliding support bars or just lower the car down on jack stands. lots of open clear space underneath to work and sleep good at night knowing everything is safe.
