[Bonkers]

Hey guys and gals! I was hired to run my CL deep dive over the
weekend so I took it upon myself to add Vipers to the list. What
you see below is every craiglist listing pertaining to the Viper
currently in the US as of Saturday night. Sorted.

Now I know some of you hate when I do this... but I dont care.
I enjoy it, and take comfort that someone might use this info to
find the Viper or part they are looking for. I did my best not to
include dealership sales and ads without pics - I am sure there are
doubles, and since this wasnt my focus this run Im absolutely
sure there are several I missed. Still I hope you enjoy it, next

Except that Adhuntr doesnt work at all anymore. They have the same
issue that I do - after a betasearch on more than 10 sites, craigslist
shuts down thier access between 20sec and up to a day at a time. The
end result is you dont get results from at least 300 sites, AND the
results are usually limited.

But Ill be fair. There are currently 4 post-'75 AMXs listed in the country
right now - a 1977, 2x 1980s, and a 1984. If you think a site Adhuntr,
or Searchtempest, or Craigzsearch is so great, tell me what cites those
cars are in... ill wait...

It would have been great but none of the links are any good. Out of 20 selected only 1 worked and it was for a rear end tub on a Gen1 in Miami. Every one I checked for the cars was either expired or deleted by the poster.

A new list is made every week. Look farther down the forum for "Nest of
Vipers" thread (i did that to make it easy to search for.) Most of these
were created over a month ago so you have to expect most to not work
by now. After 45 days I think all the links will fail.

Working on a new one as we speak.

... Sorta kinda... Im using a hybrid of an (now very) old beta-
search program a buddy of mine developed for me, and site-
to-site searching. It takes about 2-4hrs to run and then
another 2-4hrs to sort/cut/paste to the forums. I do this
for two other clubs at the same time so its kind of a thing
now.

CL is a weird creature for cars like vipers. Its pretty much like
a flea market where the only real "gems" are from sellers who
really dont know what theyve got to sell. I think that this setups
real value is in the collectables and parts since there are a lot
of car guys who pick up a genuine viper [XXXXXXX] because
its cool, but ten years later have no idea what to do with it.

The big name dealers/sellers are the best places to buy a
quality viper, Autotrader/Ebay ect... are the decent places to
buy decent vipers, and CL/Kijiji are the best places to stumble...
possibly... maybe... on the deal of a lifetime... if you have time...
and patience... and luck...

they are at mining useful data. Ive never heard of this one, but im
not trying to search the entire internet. I dont know if its worthwhile
