Connoly leather interiors - is the shift knob and steering wheel black or brown?

I'm about to go inspect a 2000 GTS I'm thinking of buying.

In the photos of this 2000 GTS, the steering wheel and shift knob are black, but the rest of the interior is the brown Connoly leather.

In a youtube video advertising a different 2000 GTS, the wheel and knob were brown to match the rest of the Connaly interior. Ditto for photos of two other Connoly interior Vipers that I found.

How did the factory deliver Vipers with the Connoly interior? Were the steering wheel and shift knob separate options from the rest of the interior?

As far as I know, the Cognac option left the "center" of the steering wheel black and the shifter boot black. The exterior area of the steering wheel or whatever (where U put your hands) and the shift knob itself was brown. Does that make sense? Google "Cognac interior Dodge Viper" and see if the pictures match what you're seeing. Good luck with the possible purchase!

I had this saved from somplace explaining the Cognac option:

Cognac-Colored Connolly® Leather Interior Group -Connolly Leather Seats w/Carpeted Backs; Connolly Leather-Wrapped Steering Wheel, Shift Knob, Parking Brake Handle & Brake Handle Boot; Color-Keyed Carpet, Knee Blocker, Console, Door Trim Panel Inserts, Speaker Grilles & Door Panel Assist Handles (Available w/Select Exterior Colors, Not Available w/ACR Group)

I think they used a special Connoly leather transport. Yes steering wheels and shift knobs were seperate and not included in the base price.

MODERATOR EDIT: Knock it off. This is not the Alley. New guys are afforded reliable advice. OP, please ignore this poster.

Mine's a 00' RT, but I would think they are the same. In this pic, I had already put the MGW shifter on, but the original was the cognac leather. Hope this helps!
