One of our members John, aqquired a wrecked right hand drive yellow RT (converted in Australia) it arrived brand new and was stolen after shortly coming into the UK, taken for a joy ride then set on fire :( the cabin was completely destroyed along with quite a lot of other parts.

John decided to convert it to a GTS and there's a few pics of how the work is progressing on the link below.

I bet you any amount the Europeans will do a great job restoring that car. When it comes to painting they get the best paint booths around. I had an Alfa Romeo Gulietta back 9 years ago.We had it hit on the rear panel. I thought they would never duplicate that olive metalic green color.By the time the car came back to us I looked all around and I can not see that the rear panel was painted.Incredible work they do.

John owns a classic restoration business, pics are in his London garage so he has the facilites, skills and contacts to bring this car back to life, the engine runs OK but sounds like there is plenty of work still to do.

The roof section was brought in from the US along with a few other parts, I believe Colin then supplied some replica replacement body panels. The rear bumper was taken off the original early JH venom aero mould (which John now owns along along with the JH front nose/splitter)

Its funny - when I mentioned this exact colour for mistress everyone jumped down my throat about it looking too "burnt" for a viper.
