Has anyone ever fabricated a dead peddle in a Gen 1 or 2 GTS for tracking? My left foot cramps at time and would like a way to rest it between shifts. I thought maybe a small notch or tab on the left side of the clutch to catch my foot on. Any suggestions?

Depending on how tall you are (I'm 6'2), you could just pull your leg towards your body so your leg is bent with your foot resting flat on the floor. Then, if that gets tired, you can rest your leg/foot in a way that it "curves" under your right foot. I've only driven a Viper a couple times for short stints and these techniques have worked fairly well in comfort.

Just put your foot behind the clutch pedal. That's all I do. Not sure how tall you are, but that is just enough for me to straighten my leg.

My idea was to have a formed panel with a step in it. The panel would be mounted over a hole cut in the left side of the footwell.
It would recess into the hole slightly and in this way give some room for the formed step that would be the dead pedal.

I don't think there is room for a pedal without some kind of a recess.

That what I was thinking joe117. Or taking an extra peddle and cut it in half or a third and mount that up against the side.

I'm 6'2'' and after a day at Sebring I started noticing my left foot cramping up. Placing it under my right leg or pulling it back is fine but usually I'm using the knee to steady myself. Note ACR 5-point Harness not installed yet.
