You're correct, but as with everything else with the new Viper, they had no follow through. As cool as Ralph appears, I have to blame him as he is the leader. Want examples of the poor follow through?

- Magazine reviews
- Developing a wonderful car only to price it out of the market
- Putting Beth Peretta in charge of marketing. We all saw she had no passion at all.
- SRT not putting effort into the web site
- Not prioritizing build order with actual orders
- No unlockable ECU after constantly addressing Viper owner's like to modify their car in all the media interviews

There are others, but for me, those are the big ones. Hell, the half assed effort still continues. Look at the most recent video added to SRT's youtube channel.

Really? First they don't even bother to shoot new footage, then they put together go-pro clips instead of a professional shoot? And "rad?" Are you serious. This looks like it was thought up in 5 minutes. That youtube channel is the next best thing when you can't afford TV spots and they are half assing it to. I personally think the car is not the problem, it is SRT. They need to stop half assing their job. You only get out what you put in.

You are 1000% correct. I've been a part of multi-billion dollar products with multi-million dollar marketing campaigns. I know how this works. So I approached Beth close to 2 years ago and gave her a full detail of how to execute the proper Viper marketing platform. She categorically rejected every suggestion (and so did Ralph out of association or validation of Beth). Most of those suggestions can be found now in these forum under titles like "What SRT has done wrong"! I'm surprised she is still there. She has no qualifications for that position.

IMO the car is failing simply because it's overpriced by 20k. I would bet if they throw a 20 rebate at the 2013's sitting on lots they'd be gone within a month or so. now that the 14's are out this is even more reason to do that, and throw 7500-10k at the 14's too. They need to put their tail between their legs and admit they overshot the price point. JMO...

The Orange TA's started on the line yesterday. You might have seen them in the holding bank from chassis.

I guess the pictures that I took of them on the assembly line last Wednesday is all just smoke and mirrors, right?

What did you tell her?
