Debadging a 97?

My car is 16 years old. (duh) Will debadging be difficult? I already know the steps on how to, but I didnt know if it would be different for a car that has had the emblems on for this long.

If the car has been in the sun for a long time over the years, debadging the signs may leave a shadow of them.

I used fishing line. Worked well. And I am replacing them with decals, not the raised emblems. I will show you the finished product when its completed.

All you need is a blow dryer and dental floss. Don't over heat.

I've replaced all mine, hair drier and Dental floss. Take lots of pictures and measurements of exactly where the badges are positioned, (just in case you decide to replace them at a later date)

Looks good! I think on mine if I take them off I would just leave it off but that's just me

Looks like you did a good job. But i am not crazy about your choice of color. White would have looked alot better IMO to match your stripes. (just my opinion).

I had debated on white. However, there is just something about those little gold stripes that I like, so I ran with it.

Your car looks really sharp! I especially like the chaser stripe around the white stripes, and the snake head on the sides.

I got all the decals made at a local sign shop. $35 for all of them, and they even gave me an extra one for each design just in case I misapplied them.

chrome would have matched your wheels.. I think white would have looked like a circus.

I am planning on some gold faced IForged rims. Stayed tune. lol
