Hi there,

did a complete new build up and named it American/German Muscle :D on my 1994 RT/10

Everytime I see pictures of American Muscle Cars with Superchargers they use toothed belts. Heard about problems with slip on the belt with the Paxton tensioner and even though with the DLM modified tensioner. Why is Paxton using the 7 Rib belt?

Here´s my question. Did anyone tried to upgrade the Paxton Novi to a tooth belt? Pictures will be great. Maybe somebody used standard components like they are used in machine-engineering?

Greetings from Germany

I think I saw mention of the stress on the crank snout with the cog style belt as being a problem. (breaking the end of the crank off, maybe under sudden decel at high RPM's?)

this is a terrible idea. the crank souts are kinda touchy as it is. this has been tried a few times, there is one guy running it. i forget his name, its actually a vortech he runs

thats why DLM uses a 10 rib belt setup
