I'll also add my thanks to Doug, Craig & Mike -- the whole crew showed up and helped Doug's customers go racing, and I saw them helping out other (non-DLM) cars during the racing as well. They're truly a class act all around. Frankly, though, everyone was very nice and helpful in person -- Albert, Sean, Dan Cragin, Tom -- and it's a reminder that most Viper owners are great people when they're not busy flaming each other over the 'net
Speaking personally, I was impressed with many of the cars there -- the RSI car (148 mph!!), Heffner car w/Jamie's driving (even if Jamie makes it hard to admit it, he's a great driver
, SW's Roe S/C car (can you say bang for the buck?), both Roof's car & his budding driving skills (10's on his 3rd time on the track??? gad), the LPE car (what a great overall package!) and of course Albert and his trick NOS system (9.99; 'nuff said).
As for my car, it seems a bit silly to be "disappointed" with a 10.4 and a 147-MPH pass, but I know the beast is capable of substantially more once the suspension & driveline tuning is done. However, no excuses -- we'll keep working on it, and I'll be the first to post when it finally turns in some times worthy of the sterling engine Doug's team put together.
