NOS will definitely void your warranty. I've been told it's pretty obvious when NOS has been used in a car just from inspection of the pistons.
In my case, the Hennessey heads I'm installing will also void the warranty, so the point is moot

Hello, I normally don't respond to these types of posts but, I just can't help myself!

NITROUS VOIDS THE WARRANTY! Whether or not it is detectable is something that has to be proven to me. Nitrous is very clean burning and leaves no residue that I know of(having ran nitrous motors for over 20 years, I have never seen evidence of nitrous use during normal teardown and freshening). Nitrous is a BOLT ON. Some dealers are more leanant than others with regards to viper maintenance and warranty repairs.

Smoking is hazardous to your health, so is unpretected sex, and just about any performance enhancing product that you can install on your viper will void the warranty.

Who cares about the warranty??????Not me!
I'm on my 116th bottle of nitrous. Over 71,000
miles on the 96 gts. It has been modified since 2500
miles with no ill effects! If I had been sweating
warranty issues, I would have missed a bunch of smiles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Void warranty?

1) On your Viper?....YES

2) On your root canal?......NO

3) PartsRack has sold new, single pistons to only Year-2000 owners who use Nitrous......(saving some for 2001 owners.)
