Drive-up Ramps for Working on an SRT?

Can anyone make a recommendation for drive-up ramps for working on the SRT? Tire width and nose cone clearance are the big concerns of course. I'm currently considering these Low Profile Rhino Ramps ( www.autobarn.net/usm11905.html ) which are wide enough and which have a 17 degree incline. Any idea if that's a low enough incline to clear the nose cone? Anyone have another recommendation or thoughts on the issue? Thanks!

Speaking of lifting the car, is it definitive that we cannot jack up the SRT? If we can, where are the jacking points? I have a drive-on lift but jeez, can't I take a wheel off if I want to? What about some of the inner frame rails? Sorry if this has been answered but couldn't find it in Search.

My GTS will not clear the Rhino ramp without some help, so I doubt if your SRT10 will fit either. The pic below shows a mod I made with some lumber to give a longer ramp so it would clear. The wood is screwed together. A hole in the lumber and ramp lets me drop in a large flathead screw to keep the things together while I drive up on it. The board can then be removed once the car is up on the ramp if desired for easier access underneath.

Thanks Ken! That's very helpful. And I really like the idea of being able to remove the extension for easier side access.

ViperRay, all the 04 shop manual shows as lift points are the four points where the arms on the hydraulic lift in the shop would be positioned to lift up the entire car. I would guess (and I am guessing!) that you could use one of these four points as a jack point so long as your floor jack has a small contact dish (like on a bottle jack, even though a bottle jack clearly won't fit under the car) and not a large contact dish like mine, given that these four points are pretty small and surrounded by and flush with under belly panels that cannot support any weight. You can find two of these four points just behind the front wheels and just inside of the rocker panels. They look like a bent piece of metal (V-shaped) that's maybe an inch and half wide. You would position the small contact dish on the point of this V-shaped piece of metal. Of course you'll have to drive up on some ramps to visually id these lift points the first time. Again, I have not tried this myself. It just sounds reasonable to me.

How much do you want to spend? If your garage (like mine) limits you from having a four post lift (next house will NOT limit me!), and you want to be able to get under the entire car.....you can go with a KWIKLIFT. Just under a grand if you want a basic "lift", mine was about $1200 (I think...it was a Christmas present). Less than half what a four-poster costs (roughly), and in my garage it lifts the car about as high as a four-poster would (if I had tried to stuff one in my tiny garage!!!). :)

In the bottom picture...off to yhe right. See that long, black thing (just under the handle for the jack)? That is the CENTER LIFT BRIDGE, used too jack a corner up. :) Instructions say to bolt it on (?????) but I left it so I could move it back and forth. Seems to work OK. :)

Quickysrt,

Yes, you would be able to change the oil with Ken's ramp set up (I did so at 200 miles with an improvised ramp set up--two piles of plywood). No, you don't have to remove any belly pans to change the oil and filter. In fact, I have never seen a better placed filter for ease of changing.

Here are the jacking points... I use a floor jack without any problems.

******, you don't have to remove anything. At those four points you have a solid "V" that protrudes down (its made to fit in the stock scissor jacks that came with the Gen 2 cars and Mopar sells). Just use a padded floor jack on these "V" points and you have no problem.
