I just beat the crap out of a Suzuki 750. I pull up to the light, he pulls up a couple of seconds later. We have a brief conversation light changes, he jumps about a car length, by time I go for second I am on him, by the top of second, I am a car length or two, by the top of third I am 10 lengths. We stop have a ten minute conversation (Cool guy) he tells me the mods on his bike, and that he has never been pulled by a car. He wants to do a dead start and roll race, I accommodate both. The 40mph roll (I stay in second) we hit it he pulls a little, by the top of third I am a couple of car lengths, he stopped before I got past the middle of fourth (as I already had 9 to 10 lengths). Dead start exact same results as before except he did not pull me as much (I did a little tire warm up

) We stopped had another brief conversation and he left a little dismayed and certainly a lot less willing to try and charm the snake again (Many have tried, few have succeeded). Now I don't think I can beat every bike out there, but I sure kicked the crap out of this one.

Not bad for a Gen 1 (Slightly modified

). If I forgot to mention this all happened on a closed track in Mexico! I am on cloud nine right now and don't think I will be coming down tonight.

Your car must easily run flat 11's. I have never beat a experienced rider even on a 600 from a stop or a low roll 10-25mph. My ACR runs high 11's all day long. I will take you up on a stop & roll on my small bike. You will be very surprised how bad you get beat. My GSXR600 runs flat 11's at 133. My sixty foots are in the 1.7 to 1.6. There is no way a viper will pull anywhere near that on the street.

Tony,
I am not claiming that I beat an experienced drag racer on a super bike. But I can definately tell you what type of bike it was and the type of mods. The guy I talked to seemed to know what he was doing, but we all have bad days. Not knowing how your bike is setup, you may be right you might

be able to beat me, but I would not bet the farm on that. I have a little experience running many different types of vehicles, bikes included, and I think its a stretch to say that there are no cars that can pull 1.6 to 1.7 on the street, especially when you don't know my car. I have seen many Vipers that will do that and more on the street. Not intending any flame towards you as I am sure you weren't towards me, I just wanted to share an experience I had with my fellow Viper brethren. Who knows sometime when you are out on a deserted track in Mexico with your GSXR600 we can hook up and you can humilate me accordingly. I would find no shame in losing to a 110hp bike with a 2500 pound weight advantage, he!! I never expected I would win when I lined up with this guy yesterday, but when I did I thought there would be some people that would enjoy hearing the story. Again no flame intended.

That's nothing, last week I beat a Gen.II with a bigger shot of NOS,heads ,cam, rear end,headers,ect..ect.. This car is known around here as one of the fastest vipers with the most mods. of any local viper. He has a dyno pull of 640 hp ,and I beat him by 7 car lenghts, ( his estimate from the video that his buddy shot) with my Gen. I. I raced him twice and same result. How can this be??????????

When you said a 'Suzuki 750', you weren't referring to the Katana (aka Kan-o-tuna) 750, were ya? A little more delicate and subtle than the bolder, spicier Gixxer 750...
