Hey folks,

Since a lot of people don't know that my OLD thread is turning into a DYNO Mod session, I thought I would open a new thread and post what the new mods got me on the Dyno, SAE corrected.

STOCK 2002 ACR WITH 3K MILE ON IT: DYNO 410.4 HP/450.4 TQ done (11/26/2002)

So far here is what I have installed:

Full exhaust system: B&B headers, high flow cats, and hi flow mufflers, with no muffler in back, but does have cross over pipe. BEST PRICING I got was from: [email protected]

DYNO'ed after installing exhaust 434.7/476.2 (done 12/21/02)

T&D roller rockers INSTALLED last night (12/27/02) BUT NOT DYNO'ED YET.

MOPAR PERFORMANCE COMPUTER INSTALLED, (12/25/02) BUT NOT DYNO;ED YET.

I am going to TRY to get to the dyno today, and dyno JUST the T&D's FIRST (with STOCK computer) to find out how much the T&D'S got me.

Then I am going to dyno the MOPAR COMPUTER (of course, exhaust and T&D's will be on the car too) and see what IT adds to the combination !!

STAY TUNED !!

-Jon

While I did NOT do the install, I was RIGHT there when the viper tech did it. IT WAS easy, but I wanted to be FULLY covered incase of a problem.

The deal is this, use the bigger washers (T&D's come with a skinny and a fat washers), get the comp cams PN 7963-16 pushrods (of which you will need 20) and away you go. PLEASE do not ask me for FURTHER insight, thats why I paid the $150 to have my viper tech there. Feel free to do the same.

NEXT, what we ALL have been waiting for.. the NUMBERS are in !!

410.4 rwHP / 450.4 rwTQ Stock
434.7 rwHP / 476.2 rwTQ B&B complete exhaust
456.1 rwHP / 494.8 rwTQ B&B complete exhaust, T&D's, Stock ECU
460.9 rwHP / 501.5 rwTQ B&B complete exhaust, T&D's, MOPAR ECU

All in All, it boils down to:
24.3 rwHP / 25.8 rwTQ B&B complete exhaust
21.4 rwHP / 18.6 rwTQ T&D's
4.8 rwHP / 6.7 rwTQ MOPAR ECU

Speaking of UPDATING my sig. Just got back from the Drag...

You know me.. dyno on saturday, track on sunday..

Take a look at the sig to see how I did..

I quit early, becasue I got in the 11.80's and I told myself I would stop if I did, because my buddy in his z06 bent his shift fork in 4th.

Good day for me.. sad for him...

I'm surprised you got more HP with the Mopar Perf ECU. Did you make your run on the OEM unit without rebooting it? (disconnecting the battery) I have the same mods. I haven't dynoed it both ways but it runs faster in the quarter with the stock computer. I threw the Mopar unit away.

YES and NO.

It WILL pass the emissions test IF you don't kick a check engine light. I had passed ALLLLLLLLLL tests except for the COLD start up ones (of which there is only 2), because I was running my MOPAR ECU instead of my stock one when I started up the car and went to the dodge dealership for emission testing. (I cant test with mopar ECU, because its not registered to my vin, so ODB II WOULD immediately kick out an alarm and not test emissions). However, the car did .. like I said pass every other test... and WOULD have passed the cold start up test, had I been smart enough to install the STOCK ecu before I went for my emissions test. The only problem, is that if you keep your stock computer in long enough , YOU WILL kick a check engine light on the NEWER cars. So I heard of drilling out the o/2 sensors just a bit, and I am going to try that trick.

My ACR just passed emmisions Test here in D/FW. Took it to the grapevine dodge dealership.

I have MOPAR CPU, no Cat's, no rear mufflers, limo tint. I love the new OBDII test as the MOPAR CPU tells the tester "everything is just fine".

I LOVE the MOPAR CPU.

Oh, dont get me wrong, Mopar ECU is the WAY to go to avoid emissions check hassle. I ONLY WISH I could use the one I have to pass with, but I cant, becasue its already been programed with someone else's vin. My viper tech, said he could NOT test/pass the car with someone else's MOPAR ECU in my car. Thats why I have had to swap them out. If I could ONLY erase the current vin in the mopar ecu, plug mine in, and then go test, I would be all set.

Life is so tough sometimes. *smirk*
