Initial dyno results. About the flattest torque curve I have ever seen!

Ron,
What mods do you have done to your Viper! I've never seen such a flat torque curve myself!

Wow, why is the same kit from paxton gaining alot more HP on almost a stock set up compared to the first few application? I remember the first few cars were hitting barely 600rwhp?

Did paxton upgrade something in the meantime? Fix some bugs maybe? Only Catless and mufflers and 665rwhp, wow! :)

Tuning !!! Fuel/air ratio...You can get over 750rwhp with the Paxton kit, but they advise against it (cast pistons)...Headers would make a much bigger difference in TQ in this case.

Very nice! That said, your A/F is quite lean in the upper RPMs - I'd be a bit concerned about temp & det?

Not at all. My bone stock car made 632rwhp with the tune that paxton sent. I still need to have the valve recall done too!

I would not spin that motor above 5.5k at all that is way too lean.

thats right you are asking for problems above 5250 rpms. You need to retune your viper asap.

Its b/c you are catless!!!!!

I did exactly what VOS said to do with no cats and replaced mufflers. That is use the 8:1 spacer & washer with 2 retainers. Other thoughts?

I had to use a vec2 to open the stock injectors up at 5250 rpms. I also took a bit of timing out. I hope you spoke to Bill Ma.

The VEC2 is a great tuning tool for sure. My target on my dyno for a blown application is a nice and flat 12:1 unless the customer wants a richer AF then that

I think that on a cast piston viper putting down 700 rwhp you need a saftey net 10.5 to 11.5

In my opnion 12:1 is to lean.

What the other guys said. Too lean up high, too rich down low. I'd keep working on the tuning.
