It's the fast and furious look.


The rollbar mount for the camera is a piece of junk and no matter how much it was tightened the camera would shake in the run.

E85 is a pure(er) form of ethonol gasoline. The stuff
at the pump is E10 (or roughly 10% concentrated.) E85
= 85%. Because of it's nature it is a wonderful fuel,
but has serious drawbacks in practicality - namely
price, fuel stability, and mileage. In the past decade
no one would pay $3/g to save the world, but recently
it's become a lot more tolerable.

I don'ty know the exact numbers, but one of the selling
points to a stock Koeingsegg CCX is that it runs 700hp
on premium, 800hp on ultra, and 900hp+ on E85 (some
tuning and modification is required on any car.)

Since my ram went from 10.71mpg to 9.24mpg since the E10
was introduced I hate to think what it would do on corn
juice. But if it gets me another 100hp I might just
consider it.

I don't see E85 as the end all solution that will eliminate the US dependence on oil. Although E85 is a player I believe a combination of all alternative means will supply the field. Electric/alternative fuel hybrids/hydrogen etc are all up and coming quickly.

I do see E85 becoming the ultimate cost effective power/performance fuel at the pump for turbo engines or anything with higher compression.

Basically it costs $2 a gallon at the pump and spec race gas costs around $11-$12 a gallon delivered in a drum to your doorstep.

We make the same power with E85 as we do with spec racing gas (120oct).

We have a Viper that will be released shortly that is similar to the Koeniggsegg in ability to run different fuels at different power levels, just by turning a switch. The Motec has the ability to run independent maps that are tuned for specific fuels. You don't have to open your laptop and change the map if you want to run a different fuel. The boost settings are entirely independent in each map. For example: the settings on your boost selection switch 1-4 would be different when you change to a different fuel that can run greater boost. Lets say you have your 93 octane map boost settings at 8,10,12 and 14psi. When you change your fuel selection switch to run E85 those same settings on the same switch will change with the new map. SO now on e85 you'll be running 9,13,15 and 17psi from the same switch. Mind you that the e85 at 10psi is making power much greater than the 10psi on the 93 map.

The cost effectiveness of e85 for the average car is dependant on if the gas prices are up or down.
Being able to pull up to the pump with a TT Viper (or any TT/SC high performance car) and pump in what will make your engine run cooler and give you the performance of race gas…….

That’s where the beauty is in that E85 is the new performance fuel at the pump that costs less for the power it makes.
