eBay.com - Who purchsed there car?

Found my car on Ebay. Went and looked at it prior to bidding. I was the high bidder with reserve not met. We worked out a deal later for a few grand over my high bid online. The final purchase price actually was the high bid I entered. You need to remember that Ebay will only up the bid to cover the next highest bid, so the seller may not actually know how high you were willing to go. The price we settled on was $4k below his reserve.

I'd strongly recommend some email dialogue or better yet, on the phone, before bidding. 99% of legitimate sellers will be more than willing to talk on the phone when selling a high dollar item. If they won't, something is wrong.
