The Mil codes are (if the same as my '97?):
12 battery disconnect.
21 Problem with O2 sensor (can be one of a number of causes, need to scan it to pin point the exact one, ie which O2, slow response, heating element, voltage, etc).
24 Throttle position sensor voltage too low or high.
I am sure that before you replace sensors you plan a SCAN as Nadine recommends. One also wonders if your battery/connectors/cables are OK...certainly if battery "old", might try a new one early on. Good luck !!
Left battery off for a few hours reconected all codes gone apart from 12 as Mike said went out for a drive 30/40 mins all ok apart from missfire and splutering turned engine off checked codes NONE started back up no miss fire for next 10 mins home.......STRANGE
