Engine mounts, will they help with 4th to 3rd problem?

I have poly trany mount with the short MGW shifter, however, I still have problems when tranny shifting from 4th to 3rd specially on a hot tranny under race track stress. So my question is will the engine mounts help my 4th to 3rd gear problem?
Oh and yes, I have changed clutch, clutch fluid, and tranny fluid.

Yes they will help a lot, If there is a syncro problem already then that will have to be dealt with separately though.

Mark how do I determine if it is "syncro problem"? Car shifts ok under normal street driving. However, on a racetrack I have to be really, really precise and do slow downshift from 4th to 3rd, otherwise it just will not go in.

Also, what should the cost of engine mounts install run for?

Does your shifter bobble all over the place on the track?

When did you change the trans fluid last?

This stuff is not meant to last long compared to normal transmission fluid and an even shorter life when you beat it up at the track often.

When the syncros are really gone the shifter will start to pop out of gear while driving. You may have a clutch going if you are having trouble getting it into gear.

How long are you driving on the track before the 4 to 3 issue starts ?
Does it get progressively worse the longer you run it ?
