Hey guys, last week i installed a Balenger cat back on my 01 GTS. The car's got no cats, and although i love the sound, its just a bit too loud for me. I was thinking of either getting some hi-flow cats or maybe adding a second set of mufflers. For you fellas with this exhaust, can you tell me what you're running??? Your suggestions and opinions are very much appreciated! Thanks fellas!!

How can you run catless in the Socialist Republic of California? I think that would be a problem when getting smogged.

If you are going to add soemthing to quiet the car down, you might as well put some high flow cats on and increase your chances of passing emmissions.

I bought my car new from Woodhouse with a Corsa cat back w/stock cats in place. The car wasn't loud at all (at least by my standards). I just picked up my car this weekend from Heffner after installing hi-flo cats. The car is definitely louder, the side sills are much cooler. I don't mind the loudness where it stands now. However, I probably wouldn't like it w/o the cats for long drives.

Guess what i'd like to know is, what would the differences be (sound wise) between adding a set of hi-flow cats vs. adding an additional set of mufflers. One quieter than the other?? More or less HP??? Thanks again guys! I just wanna get this done right the first time!

I have Belanger Headers and Random Tech Cats. I left the side mufflers out and just have the Belanger bullets on the back. I absolutely love the sound. The Random Tech cats are great.

Really?? How is the sound level inside the cabin??? Although i love the way my car sounds, the db level inside the car is unbearable. The drone effect is also quite apparent, especially between 2k and 3k rpm. I just wanna quite the inside down a little.
