was driving yesterday and my temp was at 195 then the fan would come on and cool down.turned the a/c on to keep fan running and everything was ok.turned the car off went to restart and saw puff of smoke and found out that right above the battery conn. burned the fan wire in half so i went and temp. it together and it worked as long as no a/c was on otherwise it would smoke.so i put fuse block in line and closed it up and figured i would not turn a/c on tell get time to fix. but when a put the fuse in now i started with a 15 amp and the minute the fan came on it blow, so i put in a 20amp and it blew right away to dont want to go any bigger until i get some input do i need a bigger fuse of is the fan need to be replaced. any help would be great 96 rt/10

A 30amp fuse should get you by, unless you have a 99+ fan upgrade- then
I would suggest a 40amp circuit breaker or a 40amp fuse.

I realize I'm not the poster child for the grammer movement here, but when did the whole anti-puctuation thing start being cool?
