There is no excuse for my behaviour i should know better however my son comes over to the house with his SVT Stang looking to humble me. His Svt dyno 465rwhp while my viper dyno 440rwhp but my torque was almost 100 ft/lbs more than his. We have a stretch near my house that is flat and no cars but when my son came over i had just come back from driving around in 90 degree weather for an hour. The car was hot under the hood but i was not about to make excuses so off we went. We started in first on the roll, to my surprise he was right there hit second and pulled him by two cars miss third and he was on my door, pulled fourth and he was still at my door. His car runs 122.5mph in the 1/4 so i must be at least that, got home we hugged each other and smile. He said the old man is still king of the hill, no doubt my car is quicker than his but on the top end it is a much closer race than i expected.
