I finally made it to the strip for only the second time this year. The plan was to make some runs and log air/fuel ratios after loading my new tune.

My wife wanted to ride with me so I made a pass and ran an 11.57 at 122.57 mph. Way faster than I have run in the past. On the next run I decided to run solo to see what it would do:

60' 1.750
330' 4.888
1/8 7.463
1/4 11.495
MPH 122.93

I assumed that it was going to be my fastest time of the night so I let my wife ride with me on the next run.

60' 1.712
330' 4.821
But I missed the shift. It would have been a good run.

BTW - AF's were running 11.0 - 11.5 at WOT.

Nice 60'! Those Sport Cups must hook up hard!:headbang:

I had 3.55's and PS2's on my '06 and the best 60' I could get was 1.8x. (DC Tune; Corsa; Filter; 11.6 @ 124)

Same combo on my '08 and traction is almost non-existent in 1st. Sometimes 2nd.

How are the Sport Cups on the street?

The cups are OK on the strip but they are not as good as drag radials! Certainly better than the run flats though. I dropped the pressure to 22 psi and the tires were cold for the runs. I drove around the water and just did a quick pathetic little burn out to clean them off. :crazy2:

On the street they seem to do fine as long as it is dry but you have to slow down if it rains.

On a road course they are simply awesome as long as you let them warm up before pushing hard. :headbang:
