First night of fun w/ my 98 GTS

On the way to the Alehouse last night and was puttering along when this motorcycle wants to play with me. Traffic was normal so I didn't want to do anything, but if we ended up at a light.......

It happened, but more to my suprise than I was looking for. Red Light,Bridge ahead of us (nothing but clear sailing) and a Vette pulled in the 3rd lane. oh boy. Lets see what my new GTS can do (K & N's, smoothies, and rear muffler delete). Bike took me off line (duh) in first, but second I was realing him in, and 3rd gear I was walking him and 4th he was in the rear view mirror..!
Where was the vette? Waaaaay back there.. That was FUN!
Motorcycle catches up and we hit the next light red and he pulls right up to my window and motions for me to roll my windows down and says "**** ! That's a bad *** ride! I never knew they were that fast!" I was like, uhhhh, ok thanks!

Hey Venom,

I did a few months ago when I had my black car when I demolished a GSXR 750 like it was sitting still. The thread had like 200 flames as noone could beleive it and called me a liar. Then a couple days ago I post onthe board about Doug's supercharged Viper being there and guess what.. Noone posts!!! LOL!!!!

Yes, I know, I read your post on the GSXR encounter. I think I even responded, around post #10, about "here we go again." Every time someone posts over there about beating a bike, they get flamed to a crisp. Anyway, so I was just teasing ya a little bit!

I have had 3 x 600cc crotch rockets, the last being a Honda CBR 600F2...basically they will take a Viper off the line for maybe one gear, then the Viper will eat it up.
