found screw stuck to magnet on engine oil drain plug

I just changed my engine oil this evening, and when I removed the drain plug there was a small Phillips head screw stuck to the magnet on the drain plug. Do I dare drive it? Does anyone know where it came from? The baffle perhaps? I have a picture of it but I dont know how to post pics.

the screw holds plate in oil pan have seen this before give me a call at 503 736 5183 for more info
