Woodhouse stocks them, call Nancy, she will overnight the correct cap. I had the same problem and could not get the check engine light to go away with the local purchases like pep boys etc. They don't seal correctly for emissions, Don't have any experience with the autozone cap. I had to wait 30 start cycles for the check engine light to go away. The gurus (JonB etc) do not recommend disconnecting the battery to reset for this one as it will go away by itself and you will not experience any drivability issues as the computer relearns.

I picked up the autozone cap and it works perfectly, even passing GA's emission cap test.

Lately, I have been getting a code regarding a vacuum leak that my tech seems to think is related to my Autozone locking cap

Good source of info.

I did the same thing last week. Filled up, drove off, smelled gas about 2 miles later, finally hit me. Made a U turn got back to the station and it was where i left it. The station attendant was keeping an eye on it and had a good laugh. I'm thinking of installing one of those wireless alarms on the cap, like they have on children. After a certain distance the alarm would go off in the car.

The autozone locking cap I've had no luck with on any of my cars. They seem to hold water..and don't seal well.
