And of that amount, just under 10% (about $16.80 or 2 cents/mile) was in motor fuel taxes. But, not all that tax was used to maintain the roads you drove on. About 7% is funding transit systems and hike/bike trails.

All the 20+'s were on the highway with the cruise on the under 20's were having fun at the gap and skyways.

I commute 104 miles/day. In a 2006 HEMI Charger I average 20.6 MPG. In a 1994 Viper I average 20.7 MPG. And I'm not driving slower in the Viper.

ive been driving from tn to ohio a few times in my viper. i averaged 22mpg going to ohio and on my way back to tn i got 25 mpg drafting behind a friends truck most of the way.

+1, lol I did try a couple times in the first year of ownership and the best i could get was 18or19. Man that was painfull!!!!

Always cracks me up on the gas guzzler tax we end up paying. Got 26.9, 26.6 and 22. 7 coming back from Utah ( VOI-11 ) in a 2008 ACR on my 3 fill ups bck to Nebraska. I am sure all that downforce and Pilot Sport Cups were advantageous towards the mileage -- not.

If you are worried about gas mileage get a prius or vw turbo diesel. This is a who cares issue for Viper etc. exotic drivers. GTS Bruce
