Thank you for the VERY informative information Viperrt96. I really appreciate it. Those numbers are very impressive to me. My main question would be what did it cost for the TB, head work, and intake work? I have the exhaust setup already..... Thanks again!
No problem.
Accufabs 65mm TB's run around $550 to $600 new. If you are looking for a cheaper alternative and it works just as well,I do modify GenI TB's to 62mm. Do a search for my post or look in my photo gallery. That's basically turning your GenI TB's into a GenII TB. You can buy GenII TB's on Ebay(used) and they will bolt directly on but the throttle link bar will not work since your alternator sits between the TB's. The vacuum lines are different as well.
As far as the head/intake work I paid only $1000 for my work. That was cheap but keep in mind I'm sort of in the business (machine shop) and I have contacts. The guy that did my head/intake had never done a Viper before but is a very reputable(especially Mopar) engine builder around here and had worked for Indy cylinder head. His own personal race car has set several records around here. He looked at mine and said "There's nothing special about these". So I let him do mine. No problems and I'm totaly satisfied with how my car turned out. The intake work was the best. I had the luxury of my motor out and he could bolt everything together and he match ported that way. That's really the only way you can do it and do it right. You won't believe how off your intake can be from the factory.
There are plenty of guys on this site that can give you recomendations. That will depend on what you are willing to spend. I'm guessing somewhere around $2000 + - should net you what you are looking for.
