If lowering is the exclusive goal, up to one inch is possible with your stock springs by machining the stock spring perches. Less expensive too. We have done several sets of these. Eibach no longer makes lowering springs for the Gen I's. Hard to find leftover sets as well.

I put the Intrax lowering springs on my 95 last winter and am very pleased with them. Overall one of the best cosmetic improvements to my car yet.

I purchased them from Drivewire.com for $240 shipped.

Here is a pic of the drop, about 1 inch or so.
