A friend of my is going through a rebuild of his Gen 1. He is looking to get 547r HRE's but stagger the size. 18's up front 19's in the rear. Sort of like the stance on current SRT-10's. Yet he wants no fender gaps. Has anyone tinkered with this setup. Tator is doing the work and wants a battle plan before going to war. Should he put the Eibach's on all fours or just in the back. Tire size's etc. Pic would be helpful!!!! Thanks guys..

No fender gaps?

Between body and tire? Or tire and outside of the car?

If he slams it that low for body to tire, it will handle horribly and scrape everywhere.

I agree I would go with 18 HRE's all the way around and lower the car 1". That will look sweet!
If cost is not an issue, I would use a set of Coil overs, it will improve the ride drastically as the Gen I shocks are not the best and the stock ones are at least 10 years old. Other wise the Eibachs are fine for lowering the car and stiffening up the ride.
I know Snake-Oyl products sells a nice set of Coil overs specifically for the Gen I for around $1500.

Dansauto has the set up you mention, 19" in rear and 18" HRE's up front. I think he used the Snake Oyl spring caps to drop the car 1/2 inch.

Here is a couple of pics of Dansauto's set up to give you an idea of what it will look like. Still could use a little more drop.

Also, he could not have chose a better person to work on his car than Chuck Tator. I wish I was closer :(

Here is Lauri's 93 RT-10 with the Eibachs on it. This is how the viper should sit.
