Gen 3 vs 4 blocks and cranks

I am selling some Gen 5 rods/pistons, but there are better aftermarket setups

All gen 5 internals fit gen 3block I did it with mine

ehhhhhh

They fit,

*IF* you bore and hone the cylinders.
*IF* you clearance the oil gallery on certain years.
*IF* you change the flywheel bolts.
*IF* you add the alignment dowel for 03/04.
*IF* you add the crankshaft position sensor for 03/04.

Not exactly my definition of "fit". It requires knowledge and modification.

I got the complete rotating assembly from a 9 liter build and only things that had to be done were bore out to 25 thousand over and have crank shortened 1/2 in. Used my flywheel with Gen 5 hardware and Gen 4 heads with drag pack intake and prefix reflashed my computer

Not really on this block/crank subject but damn throttle bodies are different between cars and trucks too.
