Gen3 tuning options

How hard is it to change from a SplitSecond set-up to something like SCT or VEC for a Paxton S/C car?. I'm tired of having to search around for someone that can deal with the split second stuff, plus would like to be able to have differant tunes for the summer and winter temp/humid conditions in Houston that I can load myself.

the SS is something you can learn yourself. have different tunes ....

just need ot learn the software which i wont do..

Do you have SS on your car?. Can you get emailed tunes from DLM or whoever and load them yourself?

yes i have the SS. i could if i had the software, but i dont want it.

im not a tuner and dont wanna tune. not even slightly. i dont wanna even look at the software....lol but yes, you could.

Late Model Racecraft here in Houston is ordering the SCT tuning package today. I just had them order me a SCT handheld for my Paxton car. They will be doing the dyno tune on it.

If you don't mind me asking, what did they qoute you for the dyno tune, and the SCT.

Thanks Nine Ball. FYI, some tuners that I have talked to, have suggested keeping the SS box with a generic setting to run the Paxton FMU, and use the SCT for everything else.
