As I understand it a C1 has a built up side wall...

Vipers come standard with C1 tires now...

Agreed, that's a great price. Question: How long will the tires last if you buy them and just let them sit, not even mounted on wheels? I don't need tires right now, but at that price I want to buy some anyway. Any ideas?

This my question too. I have not yet purchased my next Viper but these tire prices seem too good to pass up.

If you don't mount the tires they will dry rot starting in about two years. The trick is to keep them out of the sun and stop the rubber from drying out.

Put them in a black lawn and leaf bag and use your shop vac to **** the air out and zip tie them shut. Then you can store them in your basement.

Glad I could help a lot of people out here. Tirerack has a list of pre-approved shops that will mount them for you. You can even have them sent to the shop so you don't need to mess with it. I'm lucky, I know someone who will mount/bal. for free...
