Got my car back yesterday from DLM and all I can say is...

HOLY SHEEEEEEEEEEEIIIIITTTTTTTTTT!!!

I know it's cliche, but it's accurate; it feels like a different car. Neck snapping torque, heart-stopping acceleration and the engine absolutely sings. Every gear feels 'tighter', throttle response is instantaneous, and it even runs about 15º cooler. Interior noise and temperature have notably reduced, while externally it has a more fine-tuned racey sound on acceleration and a light burble on deceleration.

And this is before the computer swap coming in a couple/few days.

Dude's a magician.

The car hasn't been to the dyno yet, because I needed it quickly so Doug didn't have the time, but once the new computer is in he'll retune with the dyno. I'll be sure to post the numbers.

While I was there, he threw me the keys to his personal RT/10 and told me to take it for a spin. I did, and when the boost first came on, my ******* almost inverted. Traffic was too heavy to open it all the way up, but man alive was that thing fast.

THANKS DOUG! :2tu:

Well, due to my job, I'm usually out of the country so I left my car with Doug and told him I wouldn't be back until March. I got a lucky break and was able to come home about 6 weeks early, so I called Doug and asked him to expedite the project.

From the time I called to the time it was delivered it was about 6 weeks, and bear in mind that his father passed away during this period.

As for price, you'll need to call him to get specifics. He's a low/no pressure salesman, so don't hesitate to call. He has lots of juicy info.

I can tell you that his prices are very competitive to other top tuners, so if you dig around on tuner websites for comparable packages, it will give you a ballpark figure. Also, I'm not listing everything in my sig that was done, only the major things, so if I just told you the package price it wouldn't be a fair indicator as I haven't said all that was done.

If you want to get together sometime and take the car for a spin so you can get an idea about the difference over stock, let me know.

For the time being, I'm happy with the HP/TQ it has now. Of course, when I first got the car I was happy with the HP/TQ then, as well ;)
