Got my car back yesterday from DLM and all I can say is...
HOLY SHEEEEEEEEEEEIIIIITTTTTTTTTT!!!
I know it's cliche, but it's accurate; it feels like a different car. Neck snapping torque, heart-stopping acceleration and the engine absolutely sings. Every gear feels 'tighter', throttle response is instantaneous, and it even runs about 15º cooler. Interior noise and temperature have notably reduced, while externally it has a more fine-tuned racey sound on acceleration and a light burble on deceleration.
And this is before the computer swap coming in a couple/few days.
Dude's a magician.
The car hasn't been to the dyno yet, because I needed it quickly so Doug didn't have the time, but once the new computer is in he'll retune with the dyno. I'll be sure to post the numbers.
While I was there, he threw me the keys to his personal RT/10 and told me to take it for a spin. I did, and when the boost first came on, my ******* almost inverted. Traffic was too heavy to open it all the way up, but man alive was that thing fast.
THANKS DOUG!
