good insurance is your best tool. most likely you dont want the car back after its stolen.

You could hide a Iphone in it. Then you coud use find my phone and you would know where the car was located. Just a thought.

Interesting. Except the phone would have to be powered on and charged........ Possible though.......

I have an ****** entourage, it uses GPS and cell signals so it works almost everywhere. They don't have the monitoring service available in the USA, but you can check on the status of your car on your cell or computer. If the car moves and it doesn't detect your key fob, or it vibrates, it sends you an alert to your cell via text, and email.
