Years ago I had an aftermarket (V-Mania) hartop for my 95 RT and because the soft top was lousy used it quite a bit. Any of you guys have hard tops for your SRTS , and if so, how do you like them? I would need to get one with stripes which may be a pain to do. Thanks

I see no point in it unless you want it for the purpose of changing the appearance of the car.

YES THEY ARE WORTH THE MONEY, HOW MUCH IS YOUR LIFE WORTH? If you track the car I would highly recommend purchasing one. I have had mine for two years, I track my car quite a lot. 80% of the twelve thousand miles on my car have been on race tracks around the country. The hard top just gives you an additional protection. I don't go on the track with out it. That being said if you track the car get a roll bar and a Hans device.

Steve has got the Autoform top. I don't know how much more protection the top adds over and above a rollbar, honestly i dont want to find out. If you plan on tracking the car at least put in the rollbar, also from Autoform www.autoform.com. I also have one in my SRT my car is the less evil twin to Steve's car.

Steve, the hard top does add some additional protection as a "skid" plate. Imagine rolling and the roll bar digging into soft dirt. That is why "I" feel it adds some additional safety. It may be nothing extra but feeling as safe as possible makes my wife, employees, and myself feel better, and if I feel better I can concentrate on the task at hand. That being, staying on the black stuff, because beleive me the brown and green stuff gets real interesting when traveling at speed.
