Has anybody had to replace a windshield?

Something just slammed into mine on the freeway and scratched it up pretty well.

Does anybody have any idea how much it would cost to get replaced?

If your insurance does not cover it then expect to spend about $750 installed with OE glass.

My windshield got cracked last month on a drive in the hills,

I got dealer qoutes of $850, just for the OEM glass. I would have paid it ,but no dealers stock them and they all said expect 2-3 weeks or more. So I started calling around. I work at a Volvo dealer and have some glass guys I use. Most of my companies I use couldnt find anything. Finally one of my glass installers located one in the country from a supplier they used. It wasn't factory OEM, but fit and finish is perfect. I got a deal, it was $ 380 installed. So far after a month no issues. Im normally a beleiever in using OEM on glass, but in this instance I had no choice and have been very satisfied.

$380 installed is a great price.

I think I paid $800 or so installed last time for a SRT-10 windshield.

My windshield cracked at 104 miles. The dealer covered it under warranty. It was not installed properly from CAAP. They did an AWESOME job. NO problems.
