At the Viper Gala they gave us a little card with a web address that took you to a form to fill out. If you filled this form out, they send you a free Viper shirt. I filled it out the following day. Has anyone here received their shirt yet?

They just should have sent them to all those who actually went to the Gala. I paid for two people and never received a shirt. Lost in the Cyber Maze I guess. SRT does a great job. There are always going to be glitches. At least we got our Gen V Viper!!!!!:D

Thanks SRT !!!

Also , again, Thank you Austin for your contribution to the colors that our future Vipers should look like. It keeps us going. Mark said that there should be a SSG for Gen V. That is what I am looking forward to. My economic situation will not allow me to get a 13, but hopefully I will be in the loop for maybe a 14, especially if it is SSG. All the spec. lead me to believe Gen. V will be an awesome track car, that is what I want!!!!!

SSG with Stripes.

I was at the gala, no shirt here yet either (and I completed the online request an hour after the gala - couldn't wait!)

Not receiving the shirt is not an issue for me. It's a nice to have and, frankly, a surprise at best for. I paid for a donation to go towards a very worthy cause. In turn, SRT threw an incredible gala for us...food, drinks, lots of excitement, GenV's, etc. I didn't walk away from the gala feeling entitled to a free shirt especially after everything SRT did to put on a spectacular event for us. Before throwing SRT under the bus over a shirt, don't lose sight of the bigger picture of what that event was all about. Give 'em a break.

Also who said the shirts are not showing period? Have some faith in SRT folks. They have never not come through yet when they promissed something.

Maybe they needed extra time to sort though the legit ones. Maybe the supply was delayed. Who knows.

Agreed. IIRC, some nitwit decided to broadcast to everyone on the Internet how to get a free t-shirt. I'm sure SRT didn't have a supply big enough for everyone with a Facebook account. As usual, 1 bad apple ruins it (or delays it at least) for everyone else. Hold tight, I'm sure they'll get it sorted out and the shirts delivered.

I went to the gala but didn't get any card about the shirt, and only heard about it days later on this site, after apparently one could no longer order it, so even though I (a) signed up and (b) attended the event, somehow I am not able to get the shirt?! I don't understand why they were not simply shipped to those who paid and signed up for the event, what was the point in the additional process? Does anyone even have a link to what the shirt looks like?

I said this was a SRT marketing fail because if you notice all their marketing is around social media, ie Facebook and twitter. Ralph stopped by Carlisle this weekend and gave a quick speech, he asked a group of Viper owners if they were on twitter and none said yes, then said that you should be. Marketing isn't about moving the intended audience to you media of choice, but delivering your message in their media of choice. I see more and more of the camaro and vette performance commercials, but not a 1 from SRT. The best product doesn't always win, and in fact will often fail simply by overlooking the sales aspect of the product. Apple didn't become the most successful company on the planet because they had the best product, they had excellent marketing with the dancing silouettes s, they made buying music easy with iTunes, and they had great support with the genius bar. Show me where SRT has any marketing, sales, or support.
