Head Unit Confussion

OK,

So I set out this morning for a new head unit... Nothing in mind other than simple operation, CD, MP3, dual line output and a controlable sub out as I'm going to replace all the stock components.

There are sooo many options, I got frustrated.. I did like the JVC as it had all that I wanted and a USB memory slot... But the low price concerned me (<$200).

Any suggestions, recommendations? DVD capability is not a concern as I want to watch the road... Simple operation, good looks, the above mentioned features and clean output signals...

Really just need to find the unit best for you.

Their is NO kit for install, have to do some wiring.

Also make sure they keep the ant. amplifier hooked up.

One of my favorites is the Sony MEX1GP. I think I retail it at $229, removable face plate that is a 1GB MP3 player with USB interface. Hook it up to your PC, stuff it with MP3's and away you go. NOT the be all and end all....but very nice. The options, as you noticed, are staggering.
