OK, first put everything back. No kidding put everything back that you have taken off. Next..

1 Disconnect the battery
2 Remove the heater housing from the vehicle

To remove heater housing
1. Remove blower motor assembly
2. Drain coolant from cooling system
3. Disconnect heater hoses
4. Remove right side knee bolster and steel plate assembly
5. Remove heater air ducts
6. Remove lower heater housing cover
7. Label vacuum lines and then disconnect
8. Remove 4 heater housing mounting nuts, two are located in the engine compartment and two are located under the instrument panel
9. Remove heater assembly from the vehicle

3. Remove the insulation seal from atop the heater coure
4. Remove heater core retaining screws
5. NOTE the position of the heater core, the heater hose tubes are offset and can only be installed in the proper direction.
6. Lift heater core straight up and out of the heater housing.
7. Buy the guy that typed this a beer.

Good luck
