Helmet Recommendation?

For normal track days, what do you pros where? I know I need Snell SA, but full face vs. open? I have a GTS.

most tracks reccommend sa2000 or sa2005 only.full face is usually the way to go with a helmet cooler or without.

Just be sure you are buying a full face racing helmet for car racing as motorcycle helmets are not the same in a lot of cases.

Yes. Car helmets usually have a flame resistant lining, while cycle helmets liners can burn or melt. (Little need for fire supression on a bike.)

If it is for car racing make sure to get the fire resistant lining.
