aaron, definitely a Tsb for this, happened on my 96 also, it is a computer upgrade they complete and it cured my problem...

Hay Aaron,
I think you might want to loose the Platinum Plugs also. They are NOT compatible with the electrics in your Viper system. Just don't use any "Platinum" type brand. (Someone please correct me if I am wrong) JD

Also suggest checking/replacing the plug wires.

Yah, don't use Platinum plugs. I just changed my plug. I do it 10,000 miles. I use champions part #412 and my car runs so smooth. I remember Doug Levin said not to use them because they will mess with the computer.
