I live 120 miles from the closest authorized Viper dealer with a viper tech.
The local dealer will not work on my 03 viper that has a headlight and blinker problem. They are not authorized to do viper warranty work.
I called Roadside assistance and they would tow the viper to the next closest dealer who is also not authorize to do viper warranty. I asked to be towed to the nearest Viper dealer who could do warranty work and they refused.
It does not make sense that they would tow the car to another dealer who also could not do the repairs.
Anyone have a solution or know who to call with DC?

Good question... I might have the same situation someday. We have a Dodge dealer 15 miles from us but they could barely figure out how to work on my Dodge truck. The closest dealer with a Viper tech is 65 miles from me.

About a couple years ago, my snake would not start. Everything inside the car worked but for some reason or another it just would not turn over.

I called roadside assistance and they told me they would bring it to the nearest Dodge dealer. Problem is, the nearest Dodge dealer has no Viper tech. I told the lady this, she looked up the nearest Dodge dealer that has a Viper tech (which is 70 miles away) and she had it authorized to be sent there. Half hour later the tow truck showed up and was all ready to take it. Luckily, the guy who came towed a Viper before and realized it was just a weak battery. He told me if a I turn over the car and the headlights flicker, the battery does not have enough juice to turn over the car. Sure enough, the headlights flickered when I tried to turn it over. He then jumpstarted the car and that was that. When I eventually went to the dealer for service they replaced the battery under warranty.

The service I received was quick, responsive, and courteous. Hopefully DC will treat you in the same manner. :2tu:

I lost the high pressure power steering hose fitting at well over 100 mph. I was close to home so I got it back there without overheating the engine. I called roadside assistance and told them the circumstances, they were going to have it towed to the nearest dealer w/ a viper tech. The problem was that viper tech doesnt have a good reputation.

I told them I wanted it towed to a different dealer over 40 miles away and they did it no questions asked.

To make a long story short, DC was no help at all.
they refused to tow to dealer who could do the work under warranty.
I drove the car 360 miles to the dealer where I bought the Viper.
He fixed the problems under warranty with no questions asked.
The problem enter up being wires were frayed from a screw in the fan shield.
It took 10 minutes to fix.
DC road side assistance and customer assistance *****.
What a joke.
