laviper, I see you are a new member here. Sorry to hear your troubles.

John Hennesey reads this board.

I suggest you do a search under Hennesey. You may also want to check under the areas labled Perfomance and Time Slips.

I'm waiting for the ENTIRE Venom Aero Body. It's gonna look AWESOME!!!

Those are some real popular pieces but I can assure you that they aren't finished yet. I'll check on your order for you.

Have you considered moving to Texas?

Sorry, buddy, couldn't resist. The prevailing opinion is that Hennessy takes care of the locals, but if you are outside of spitting distance, your order goes on the back burner.

It makes me really ashamed of USA that people in foreign countries have claims against HMS. Not good international diplomacy, and not the impression I want people around the world to have of the Viper nation, and the good people of the VCA.

I'm out of state and have no problems. I would be patient. I've been communicating with john the past two weeks, he said that the kits should be ready some time near the end of the month. I would be patient, the wing and the full areo kit are well worth the wait. People go nuts when they see my car. I'm waiting for the rear bumper, I've been waiting a little while but I know I'll get it. This wait is nothing compared to some of the places I've gone to do work on my car!

The quality of the wing is excellent too.

Some people smoke cigarettes and don't get lung cancer and die. But there is serious risk involved.

This is not how things are SUPPOSED TO WORK IN THE REAL WORLD.
A man orders a part, he's SUPPOSED to get it.
If he can't get it in a reasonable amount of time, he should
be given a real explanation or get his MONEY BACK.
If none of the above happens, he should have some CIVIL OR LEGAL
RECOURSE.
If 'nothing above' works, and this CONTINUES TO HAPPEN; OVER, AND OVER, AGAIN;
the company SHOULD NO LONGER BE IN BUSINESS.
IF THIS WERE THE REAL WORLD, WE WOULDN'T BE HAVING THIS CONVERSATION. (I watched the movie Grand Canyon again last night)
P.S If your thinking about showing up at HMS, think again. Someone else tried that. Not a good idea!!

Hope you get your parts. I suspect you will, but dodging phone calls and not returning calls has no excuse. I'm sure you've been on this board before. Look before you leap..

Sounds like Trey knows the status of his order, and will check on yours as well, that should help. Based on Trey's response, you should be able to make an educated decision either to wait for your wing, or cancel the order and request a refund due to non-fulfillment on the committed date.

One lesson gleaned from watching peoples issues with suppliers over the years, is if a supplier requires 100% of payment for an item up front, it is usually for one reason: The item is completely custom, and could not be sold to another customer if that customer backed out on the purchase. This is certainly fair, as the item would not be salable if the customer backs out.

A more reasonable supplier policy is to take a percentage of the purchase price (usually a small percentage 10% +/-) with the balance due on delivery. This way, if the customer backs out of the sale, the seller can cover the costs they incurred for the item (shipping from their supplier, office overhead, time-value of money, carrying cost, etc., etc.). They can then sell the item to another party, and make the profit they would have originally made from the first customer. A fair policy.

Many Viper tuners require a percentage up front, or a credit card number, on which they bill the customer 100% upon shipment, or the pre-agreed upon cancelation fee. This is the "norm" for standard items.

At the manufacturing facility where I work, one of the objectives we measure for our factory is on time delivery (based on commitments we make to our customers), for the last five years, we have maintained 100% on time delivery. As a major component supplier to OEM Unitary A/C manufacturers, It is critical to deliver on time, as many of our customers work on just-in-time, or minimal component inventories. One thing, we invoice on shipment, so if we don't ship, we don't get paid.

It is tougher to maintain delivery dates for smaller businesses, but the person running the shop should more or less know the lead times for his suppliers, and communicate any delays to there customers.

i wonder if people are doing this on purpose, after making comments about hennessey?

Probably no foul play here..... that virus grabs user names from a persons inbox, outbox, and address book..... so it is usually not from the person in the "from". I have got it mailed to me from "myself".... sort of funny as whoever had the virus, must have had my address in more than one place on their email, so when it randomly grabbed the "from" and "to": both me
frown.gif

If you don't use MS Outlook, or Outlook express, you are safe from many viruses, the newest version of outlook is much better than in the past, but to be super-safe, I use a third party email, that is not worth the effort for virus writers to attack

I can assure you that jkracer9 (Rohn) would never do that to anyone! He doesn't even have a Hennessey Viper. He has a TNT Viper & is a big TNT supporter. Jay was correct because the same thing happened to me.

Yes I am a supporter of TNT and I have also listened to all the neg. about Hennessy. He has never done anything to me but be casual. I posted his phone number, the number that he called me on. Before you point your blunt finger get some facts to support the crap you attempted to peddle through your 2 sec. of fame.
Thanks to calm cool heads like Jay and Trey these BS flicks don't go to far. Just remember that what you post could get someone hurt. Vipers are cost to cost but none of us want to walk into a blind sided pile a c**** that was started with little thought. No different than if I posted that you played with young ____. That has no basis but others might believe it. I know that it is not true but will others.

Its called charge back.

Call your credit card company and tell them you did not get the item you paid for. And have them reverse the charges, its very simple and they take the money back from HMS.

With all the crap going on about HMS, why in the world would anyone consider getting anything from him? Are some of you that addicted to gambling? I think the roulette table has better odds than HMS.
