I found the easiest way to do this was to run a rubber hose (approx 3 ft if I recall) down through the drivers side of the engine bay down into the tranny filler hole, stick a funnel into the end of the hose and pour in the fluid.
Just keep adding intil it is pouring all over the floor OK, better to put an oil drain pan below the tranny
i remember chuck told me to check on the tag on the side of the tranny case to see what kinda of tranny fuild does the car takes, so will the Castrol Syntorque LT (Mopar #4874459) fit all type?? what kinda of fuild supposed to go in on a 96 GTS?? thanks
Take Jay's advice...I didn't know about the difficulties of getting fluid into the tranny. Ended up going to h/w store and getting a 3 foot tube that just fit inside the filler hole. Easy then.
