That is funny. That makes me think of the last post like that. I think it was last winter when someone said they went to their local dealer and the Viper was literarly covered under a snow mound.

Driving over the mountains from LA last year, in a snow-storm on the mountains...had a Ford GT getting piled on, sitting outside at a dealer :omg:

I still laugh about the eBay ad that showed the convertible top half opened because the guy didn't know you had to open the trunk to stow the it.

Just drove by this place and decided to stop in to take a look at it.

eBay Motors: Dodge : Viper (item 150215552101 end time Feb-19-08 15:41:48 PST)

I must say this is one beat up viper. First thing I noticed is there are tons of scratches in the paint. Next thing is the wheels (all 4) have curb rash. So then the salesman comes up to me and asked it I was interested and wanted to sit in it. Why not lets see what else is wrong with this car. So drivers side door handle does not work so after opening it up from inside I see the shifter nob is trashed. Not sure how that was done but it was a mess. Then I see the pedals are covered in mud and crap. So after I see this mess I decide to get out and look at the heart of the beast but we can't because they can't get the hood to opened :rolaugh:

So after all of this he still has the stones to ask me if I was interested. :rolaugh: I don't think so!!!

At least they moved it inside before the ice/snow storm passes through. One wheel shot, probably the best rotor of the four.

I've been in the market for a Viper lately as a 40th birthday present to myself, and really have come to the realization that for peace of mind I'll need to contract with one of the forum sponsors to find me one. As much as a tightwad I am, I can't imagine how upset I would be getting my dream car and finding major issues with it.
