How tall is my GTS ACR ?

Hey, cars off sight as I'm getting new garage renos to repair hail damage. Thinking of some garage mods. How high is the highest point of my 2001 ACR stock?

You know what I'm thinking.....

Just checked my 2002 and got roughly 48.5 inches.

Yup...48.5 here as well...2001 ACR, stock height.

That means you don't need more than ~10 feet to be able to stack another one if you have a 4-post lift.

My ceiling is 9'2". When I worked out car + deck height, I figured the bottom of the deck would be around 5 feet or just under with the car all the way up (not taking into account lock heights, which may restrict this even further). I couldn't get anything but another sports car under there, which is ok since I would be buying the lift for maintenance purposes rather than storage purposes, but I'm 6'4", so I'd have to sit down on a mech's stool and put the car up around 4 feet to work under it.....that just doesn't appeal to me so I scrapped the idea.

I had a 10'0" garage and had wifes 06 Charger (58 in.)and a '70 RR (54 in.) on a 4 post stacker with just enough room, so you could put your Viper over a car up to 55 in. tall in your existng garage. If you do raise the roof, go for at least 11', although from the photo I saw of your garage (from the BBQ) that would be a tall (no pun intended) order.

I'm at exactly 9 feet and two Vipers work just fine. I back the top one in and thus never had to move the door up or the motor. I did angle the two side tracks and the motor track up a bit. Lift is a Perfect Park.

I'm working with 103"...had to be VERY careful with my measurements!! I can currently stack any combo of roadsters/verts/coupes...with 1/2 inch to spare. By the way, to service a car on this lift, I sit on a rolling stool and wear a bicycle helmet to minimize effects of the head bangs (no joke). Works for ME !!!
